Among the victim of attack was Mr Sunday Bulle who had relocated from his native Lobirin Community of Barki Ladi Council Area to Kwata community to escape the series of attacks in his hometown where he was a councillor before he was shot dead by the gunmen

According to a resident in the community, Mr Solomon Dalyop who confirmed  the  incident, several others were also injured during the operation which took place around 7pm.

“When they finished and ran away, six people lay dead including a former councillor who relocated to the community from Barki Lady Local Government Area. What we are witnessing in various communities in Plateau state is a new form of unprovoked aggression against the people and the government and the security agents must rise in defence of the communities before the gunmen wreck more havoc on innocent civilians “

The Governor, who said he had directed the security agents to stem the resurgence of attacks in Plateau communities in had in a statement issued by the Information Commissioner for Information, Mr Yakubu Dati, assured the people that perpetrators of the attacks would be hunt down.
