MC Oluomo Leads 5Million Man Rally For Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly called MC Oluomo, on Sunday, led thousands of members of the defunct Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, including Lagos monarch and some supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state in a solidarity rally for the presidential Candidate of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu and the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The rally which was largely peaceful and orderly took off from the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere through Western Avenue was terminated at Bolade in Oshodi, Lagos, disrupted human and vehicular movement and left many commuters stranded at various bus stations along the route.

According to the Deputy Chairman, Motorcycle Operators Association of Lagos State, MOALS, who led members of his association to the rally, Alhaji Nurudeen Adedunmoye, alcohol and all forms of intoxicants are prohibited at the rally.

He said, “So farmers, we had a peaceful rally devoid of violence. The rally started at the Teslim Balogun stadium and it is expected to take us through Western Avenue to Oshodi. With this, we want to express our support to all candidates of the All Progressives Congress, particularly, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. I give kudos to our boss and leaders, MC Oluomo who is behind the peaceful conduct of the rally. He prohibits alcohol and all forms of intoxicants which I why you don’t see any of the participants at the rally drinking or being aggressive. It’s really successful.”

The convener, MC Oluomo, described the rally, “Mother of all Rallies,”, as it showcase the enormous supports the former Lagos state enjoys in the state.

He said, “We are shutting Lagos down for Asiwaju Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu. This is mother of all rallies. We are all here to show our support, strength and capacity for all APC candidates because they are the best for the job at hand.”

Also in attendance at the rally were the Lagos State chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the Oniba of Iba kingdom, Oba Sulaiman Adeshina who alighted from his car at Anthony bus stop to join the rally and other notable personalities from the political and Nollywood Yoruba circle.
