Kalejaiye Greets Christians, Distributes Bags Of Rice, Chickens For Christmas Celebration

To demonstrate the love of Christ and his selflessness, the traditional ruler of Otumara community in Lagos Mainland Local Government in Lagos state, High Chief Kehinde Kalejaiye, distributed bags of rice , chickens and vegetable oil to Christians and other residents for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The distribution of the items, according to Kalejaiye, is aimed at identifying with the people of his community and importantly, to share in the joy of the season.

During the period the distribution lasted, newsexplorersng.com Correspondent who was at the scene, reported that faces of residents shine with smiles as they showered prayers and were full of appreciation to High Chief Kehinde Kalejaiye for the Christmas gift.

However, in his Christmas message to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, the highly revered traditional ruler expressed his gratitude to God for His grace on his family and the entire community to witness this year’s celebration.

He said, “I have every reason to give praises and thanks to God for his protection on my family and the community.

It is not by our might that we are alive to celebrate this Christmas. Its by the grace of God.

So we have every reason to be grateful to God for our celebration is multidimensional.

Firstly, we are alive today by His grace and also we have a new monarch on the throne, His Royal Majesty, the Oloto of Otto of kingdom, Oba Bashiru Odesanya, after six years the throne has been vacant.

So I thank God for the show of mercy on our Kabiesi and on our community for giving us a blessed king.

So the distribution of rice, vegetable oil and chickens to the people is an expression of love and gratitude to God for His mercy and protection on the community over the years to witness this season.”
Kalejaiye advised Nigerians to be tolerant and rekindle their hope in the country.

He said, “As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I urge us all to be tolerant, show love and rekindle our hope in the country.
Nigeria is a blessed nation and we all have a role to play for the country to attain a better and prosperous height.

As the 2023 elections approach, we have to vote right and pray to God for the emergence of a just and righteous leader that will have the love of the masses at heart.

While we celebrate, I urge us all to remain conscious of our environment, remember the poor and the needy and continue to put our country in the hands of God.

May our dreams and aspirations be fulfilled.
I congratulate all of us and pray to God to keep us alive to witness more Christmas celebrations.”
