Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has emerged Deputy Senate president of the ninth National Assembly.
Senator Omo-Agege polled 68 votes to defeat Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekeremadu who polled 37 votes.
Total number of 105 Senators-elect voted, One Senator abstained and one vote was invalid
