Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has inaugurated three ad-hoc committees that would ensure the smooth sail of proceedings in the House.
The three committees are the Selection Committee, Ad-hoc on Welfare, and Media.
According to the Speaker, the Selection Committee will be chaired by him, Welfare Committee by Hon. Wale Raji, Lagos State while Khadijat Abbah-Ibrahim from Yobe State.
According to the arrangement, the welfare committee is saddled with the allocation of offices and sitting arrangements to members while the ad-hoc committee on media will interface with the public on behalf of the house.
Further, the selection committee will focus on the selections of members and chairmen of standing committees of the house.
While acknowledging the enormity of that tasks, the Speaker said the committees have seven days to accomplish all the assigned tasks.
He added that he would with his Deputy Speaker, Idris Wase go round to inspect the work done three days to the July 2 resumption date.
