He stated that since #EndSARS protest and attack on police stations across, morale of police officers are dampened that many of them walk the street of Lagos in fear.
With the donation of modern policing gadgets, however, he said, “Police officers will be proud to discharge their duties efficiently without any hindrance. Since the #EndSARS protest, things are no longer the same as far as security and policing is concerned but with what Governor Sanwo-Olu has done, policing has assumed another dimension in Lagos State. Aside this, this will also boost the morale of security agencies across the State just as security of lives and property across Lagos communities will improve immeasurably.
I wholeheartedly appreciate the governor for living up to his electoral promises and even doing more than he promised. In the last two years, Lagos has witnessed an immeasurable developmental stride. Lagos is a trailblazer and it has continue to maintain the lead among states of the federation. I pray God almighty continue to guide our governor on the path of progress and of righteousness.”
Kalejaiye reiterates his call for the construction of Senior Secondary School in his community as he said, “We know we have a listening governor and that is why we will continue to drum our needs because we know he will listen to our cry. I want to remind the governor of the need for blocks of Senior Secondary School for our children in Lagos Mainland Local Government. While we appreciate the commissioning of blocks of classroom for the pupils of Banjo Primary School, we equally appeal to you to safe our children of agonizing journey to schools in Surulere Local Government and beyond for secondary education. Once again, on behalf of residents of Otumara community, I thank you for prioritising the needs of Lagosians and may God reward you excellently for the great work you have been doing.”
