Lagos Neighborhood Safety Agency, LNSA, has honored selected staff of the agency for their commitment and excellent service delivery.
At the award presentation ceremony which was held at the Multi-agency complex Bolade Oshodi, Lagos, on Tuesday, General Manager of the agency, Dr. Ifalade Oyekan said the award is given out awards to the awardees to motivate them for greater and an improved productivity.
Oyekan stated that, “This award presentation is to appreciation our staff for an excellent job done in the outgone year.
It is been given to some staff of the agency who have displayed excellence in the discharge of their duties in the year 2021.”
Oyekan thanked the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu for his unflinching support to the agency.
“I must commend the unflinching supports of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu to the LNSA without which we wouldn’t have made such marks.
The agency has been reorganized and repositioned for greater efficiency. We are better positioned for community policing” he said.
Awards were given to the Information Communication Technology (ICT) unit as the most supportive unit of the agency.
Oyekan disclosed that the ICT unit has been contributing immensely towards the progress of the agency.
Also, the Special duties unit was also recognized as the best operational unit, the intelligence unit bagged the flagship award while Ikeja Division was pronounced the best Division in the outgone year.
Three individuals were also appreciated for their efforts. They include Mr. Tope Akinlabi of the Admin Department, Mr, Emmanuel Ogolo of the intelligence unit and Miss Justina Aniefiok of the New media.
Oyekan enjoined award recipients to be more dedicated to their work, saying, that the reward for hard work is more work.
