30 SANs appear for CJN as trial begins

The trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Walter Onnoghen for alleged six-count charges bordering on false assets declaration at the Code of Conduct Tribunal ( CCT ) in Abuja has commenced.
The Federal government prosecuting team was led by Aliyu Umar (SAN) with two other lawyers while the defence team of the CJN has 30 SANs with Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN as the lead counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN Chris Uche SAN and other lawyers.
