Eid Message: Christian Community Head Congratulates Muslims On Eid Celebration
-The community leader preaches religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence on Eid day
-he donated bags of rice to fasting muslims during Ramadan
-High Chief Kalajaiye urged president Buhari to implement the passed state creation law

High Chief Kehinde Kalejaiye, the traditional head of Apapa road, Otumara 11, Ojo-oniyun and it’s environs has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria on the successful spiritual journey through the Ramadan.
He wishes Muslims in his domain and beyond a blessed and happy Eid -el-fitri celebration.
The Christain traditional ruler made this known in his Eid messages to Muslims on the Eid day at his residence in Lagos.
He donatied bags of rice to an Islamic organisation, the Faith Unites Muslims Charity Initiatives (FUMCI) to support the organisation’s feeding project during the fasting month.
in his Eid message, Chief Kalejaiye advised Muslims to emulate the prophet of Islam and adopt the lessons of the Ramadan Fast in their daily lives.
He said, “From what we heard from Islamic scholars, Ramadan fast teaches piety, abstinence from sins, good neighbourliness and tolerance.
He urged our Muslim brothers and sisters to imbibe the teaches and lessons of the month in their everyday lives.
He said for both Muslims and Christians to live peaceful in our Community, we need to have the fear of our creator at heart, love our neighbours as ourselves.
He added that we should learn to tolerate one another regardless of differences in our religion. A crime and violent free society can only be achieved if we appreciate one another and learn to live in peace with each other.
“Therefore, as Muslims rejoice today, I am calling on Muslims to celebrate in moderation so as not to cast the rigorous religious efforts of 29days of fasting into the bin”. he said.
While commending President Muhammadu Buhari for signing into law the creation of more States and the creation of State police, Kalejaiye called for the urgent implementation of the signed law.
He implorde Nigerian Muslims to remember to pray for peace and unity of the country and pray to God to direct the leaders of country to the right path.
He said, “Let us pray for unity and peace in the country and to Almighty God to restore normalcy in the troubled region in the country.
Let us pray to God to guide our leaders to the right path and instil in them His love and fear for peace and tranquility to reign supreme.
We should also not forget to pray for a more peaceful and progressive Lagos State. They should pray for our leaders beginning from our father and mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr Hamzat Kadiri, our amiable Lagos Mainland Local Government council boss, Hon. Rashidat Omolola Essien and all the councillors.
I wish them all Eid mubarak. Once again, I wish all Muslims in the country a happy Eid celebration. May almighty God protect us to witness more of it in the land of the living.”
