Curses By Awolowo, Abiola Are Reasons For Insecurity, Unemployment, Prophet Adeoye Reveals

Subair Mohammed

Prophet Ismail Adeoye of the New Jerusalem Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ibadan, Oyo state has prophesied that unless Nigerians are prayerful, the curses that have been hindering their progress and working against their destinies manifestation will persist.

The Prophet in a telephone interview with Legit.ng regional reporter, Subair Mohammed revealed that Nigeria and her citizens are suffering from the curses that were placed on them by the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola who were cheated politically, incarcerated and unjustly killed.

According to him, Nigerians must be prayerful and the government need to pacify the souls of these late politicians for Nigeria to overcome and wade off these curses.

He said, “Heaven has revealed to me that Nigeria is suffering from curses of past Nigerian politicians who were unjustly treated and cheated of their mandate.
I see Nigeria sinking in the ocean as a result of these curses of the oppressed and that of those that were unjustly punished.

The effect of these curses is the bad foreign image the country has. It is the cause of lack of understanding by Nigerians of the mode of operation of President Muhammadu Buhari. It is also the cause of the insecurity and other challenges confronting us as a nation.”

Prophet Adeoye further revealed that the solutions to the challenges of the country is spiritual and require not political solutions.

He stated “President Buhari is trying his best to get the country back on the right track but little did he know that the problems of the country are beyond fighting corruption and appointing best brains, it is spiritual. It is only those that are disposed to prayers and are closer to God among our leaders that can overcome this curse.

When late Chief Obafemi Awolowo took a shot at the presidency, did he get there? No, he was denied in spite of his popularity. Similarly, late MKO Abiola having won the 1993 presidential election was cheated and the result was annulled and he died in prison.

Consequently, from the depth of their hearts, these two great Nigerians placed Nigeria under curses as a result of the injustice melted out to them by the Federal government of that era and that is what is affecting us today. The kidnapping, armed banditry, corruption, youth unemployment etc. are results of these curses.”

The man of God, however, sees rays of hopes for Nigeria and Nigerians, as he said “I am happy to give every Nigerians glad tiding that with the steps taking by President Muhammadu Buhari to honour MKO Abiola’s family and recognise June 12 as democracy day, he has successfully pacified the soul of the late politician.

Since the honour bestowed on Abiola family, you would observed that things have changed for the better and the country is experiencing improvement in all sectors.

It is now left for the government to appease the soul of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and other Nigerians that have fallen victim of government callousness.”
