Eid-el-fitri: Our Strength Lies In Living Together With Love, Kalejaiye Tells Nigerians

High chief Kehinde Kalejaiye, the traditional head of Otumara community in the Lagos Mainland of Lagos State has urged Nigerians regardless of their religion to live together as one with love, noting that economic prosperity and growth, peace and love thrive only in an atmosphere where there is love.

Kalejaiye gave the charge in his speech on Eid-el-fitri day to congratulate Muslims on the occasion of this year’s celebration  to mark the end of Ramadan fast.

He called on all Nigerians to work together with the government to sustain and maintain the freedom and unity that bound us as a country and not allow self-interest, deceit and greed of few people to destroy the country.

He said, “our greatness as a nation lies in living together as one indivisible entity and promoting peace and love among different ethnic group. This is the period we all must be strong to defeat Insecurity and other challenges we are currently facing in our dear country”.

 

The High Chief Congratulates all Muslims while urging them to remember the purpose of the Celebration which is to seek for forgiveness and more blessings from Almighty Allah.

“I called on all Nigerians to always remember our shared heritage of unity and the pains of our founding father before attaining self-rule. Nigeria is out collective project and we have to work together to make it work. We have to be guided and not allow the present challenges to divide us.”

While wishing Muslims a peaceful and joyous celebration, he pray for the leadership of the country at all levels and call on them to live up to their electoral promises to the electorates.
