Local Government Commission Chairman, Kamal Bayewu Commends Apatira For Prioritising Staff Welfare

Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Kamal Bayewu, has commended the council chairman, Hon. (Dr) Ahmed Apatira, for given priority to staff welfare.
Hon. Bayewu gave the commendation during a familiarization visit by a delegation from the Local Government Service Commission to Itire-Ikate LCDA comprising commissioners from the five divisions of the state on Thursday.
Speaking on the purpose of the visit at the reception hosted by the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon Yetunde Jimba, Hon Bayewu stated that it is to identify the challenges of staff with their areas of needs with the aim of proffering immediate solutions.
“The purpose of our visit here today is mainly to identify with the staff of Itire-Ikate LCDA. We are here to identify your areas of needs and challenges and proffer immediate solutions to them.
Also we cannot but appreciate the council chairman, Hon Ahmed Apatira for prioritising the welfare of staff of the council and for positively transforming the face of the LCDA. I must also commend the staffs for your support to the council management team” he said.
While calling to task the council staff on the need for an improved Internally Generated, Hon Bayewu charged the Area Officers to surpass the budgeted revenue of the council by a responsible margin.
Earlier the Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon.(Dr) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira who was represented by his Vice Chairman, Hon Yetunde Jimba reiterated his administration’s commitment to the welfare of staff and infrastructure development in the district.
Apatira commended the workforce and the management team led by the Council Manager Mrs Oluwakemi Oshun for always being Supportive of his administration.
The delegation from the commission includes Hon. Kamal Baiyewu (Chairman), Engr. Biodun Orekoya (Ikorodu Division), Taofeek Adaranijo (Ikeja Division), Ahmed Seriki (Epe Division) and Hakeem Bamgbola (Lagos Division)
Also on the entourage were the Permanent Secretaries and Directors of the Lagos State Local Governments Service Commission.
