Shock As Man Stabs Roommate To Death

A 25-year-old man, Friday Ogbaga, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his roommate to death in Isolo area of Lagos state.

According to eyewitness account, the stabbed his roommate, Friday Nwife to death with a broken bottle over an unresolved scuffle.

Ogbaga was said to have stabbed Nwife on his chest with a broken bottle and he slumped.
He was later pronounced dead at the Isolo General Hospital where he was rushed to.
The body was evacuated to IDH morgue, Yaba, for autopsy, while the suspect has been taken into custody.

On July 9, at about 11.32 pm, according to a police sources, a distress call was received at the Isolo Police Station that a fight broke out between Friday Ogbaga, and Friday Nwife.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incidence, said the suspect has been taken into custody for interrogation.
