Man Slumps, Dies In Banking Hall After Standing On Queue For Hours To Withdraw Cash
A yet to be identified man has slumped and died at a bank in Agbor, Delta state after waiting on the queue for several hours to withdraw cash.
The unfortunate incident happened inside the First Bank PLC banking hall in Agbor, Delta state on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
An eye witness, Omole Mike confirmed the incident on his Facebook page.
He shared a photo of the deceased and wrote; ”Just now, at about 1:30 pm. Somebody collapsed and died in the First bank of Nigeria, Agbor Branch. The Date is on 02-02-2023. May his Soul Rest in Peace. It is well.”
Confirming his death, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, said, “He was not trying to withdraw cash; he came to collect his ATM card.”
