He said, “I rejoice with Muslims across the globe on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, I pray the blessings and mercies of the day abide with us as an individual and collectively as Nigerians. Importantly, as we celebrate with our Muslims brothers and sisters, we must celebrate within the limit of the law and ensure that we observe all the health safety protocols handed down by the government for our safety. We must know that COVID-19 is still very much with us and try as much as possible to maintain so ial distancing and wear facemask. May God protest us and our loved ones from the dreaded pandemic”

While speaking on the local government elections scheduled to hold in Lagos State on July 24, across 377 wards in the 57 Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas, LCDAs in Lagos State, Kalejaiye urged all adult Lagosians to come out en masse to perform their civic responsibilities.

According to him, voting in an election is the power of the electorate to bringing about the desired changes in the polity.

While also reminding the Lagos State government and it’s agencies of the needs of his community,Kalejaiye advised all adult makes and females to come out in Saturday to perform their Civic responsibilities to vote for their candidates if choice.

He said, “As we celebrate the Eid, we must not forget our civic responsibilities of voting on Saturday, July 24 in the local government polls. I want to implore us to come out enmass to vote for the progressives so as to replicate the growth and stability we are currently enjoying at the national and state levels at the grass roots. I am also appealing to the government to accede to our demands for a better and developed Otumara community. We need senior secondary school in Otumara and it is our believe that once the local government elections are over both the local government administration under our able chairperson, Hon Omolola Essien and the Lagos State Government will work together to actualise our dream as this is the essence of good governance. Once again, barka de salkah to our Muslim brothers and sisters”
