Angry Husband Beat Pregnant Wife To Death

An angry husband identified as Abdul- Azeez Giwa has beaten his pregnant wife, Nimatallah Giwa, to death in Saki, Oyo State, Southwest, Nigeria.

Nimatallah, as gathered passed on three hours after receiving severe beating from her husband who alleged that the pregnancy her wife was carrying is not his.

Azeez, who is in his early 40s, alleged that his wife was promiscuos and denied being responsible for her pregnancy.

He had fled Saki to escape being arrested by the police after he had inflicted severe injuries on her wife causing her to bleed to death.

The sad incident occurred on Saturday while the victim died on Sunday, November ,14 2021 at an hospital where she was receiving treatment.

According to an eyewitness, the late Nimatallah who was eight months pregnant had lost a pregnancy consequent to frequent bashing and domestic violence.

She had since been buried according to Islamic rite.

Efforts to get Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer to react to the development proved abortive.
