Council Boss Presents Cars To Media Aide, Councillors, Others

The Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area, Comrade Balogun Olumide, was pleasantly surprised as his boss, Hon (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, presented a new Toyota Corolla car to him as his birthday gift.
The astute publicist was a year older on the 29th of December
The car gift, according to the council boss, is to boost efficiency and service delivery of the beneficiaries.
Other recipients of the car gift include Hon. Olaoluwa Agbeyangi: Councillor, Karounwi Ogunsami Ward/ Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Funmilola Oke: Supervisor for information, Hon. Folu Aofolajuwon: Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Akin Akintewe: Supervisor for Special Duties and cabinet members and management team.
Meanwhile to mark the birthday of his CPS, Hon Apatira not only penned a hearty tribute but also presented a four-door Toyota Corolla car to celebrate a quintessential media aide, Comrade Balogun Olumide
The council helmsman, in his tribute, acknowledged the untiring, assertiveness and unique contributions of Comrade Olumide to the pen and the image laundry business of the LCDA.
He wrote, “Working together with you over the years have been wonderful and your diligence and commitment to work is very vital, a worthwhile experience to the entire team.
You have shown sincere commitment towards uplifting the district and projecting it to the outside world in positive light.
As you journey on in life, may the years ahead filled with abundant strength, wisdom and grace for you to continue to contribute towards taking our constituency to a greater height and make many positive impacts.
I join members of the executive and legislative arms, management team, friends, colleagues, family, political associates, well wishers and the good people of Itire-Ikate LCDA to wish you a blissful birthday celebration.”
Reacting to the amazing gift, Hon Elaloro Dayo while cheering the CPS declared, “This is a new dawn in Itire-Ikate LCDA. Like the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila who was the first representative to distribute cars to the constituents, today, Hon Apatira has joined the big league of leaders with soft spot for their aides as he presented a Toyota corolla car as birthday gift to his CPS. Let the good work continues. I celebrate with you, Comrade.”
Responding to the honour bestowed on him, Olumide who was visibly dazed with the surprise gave adoration and praises to God.
He said, “I am so short of words. A special Birthday Gift from a very special and rare personality, my Boss, Mentor and Leader, Hon. Dr Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, Executive Chairman, Itire-Ikate LCDA. May God continue to project him beyond his imaginations.”
