Court Clears Hon. Sangodara Of Certificate Falsification Charges, Apatira Applauds Verdicts

The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has cleared Hon. Mosunmola Rotimi Sangodara the deputy Chief whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly of all charges bordering on certificate Falsification and forgery.
The court also affirmed the lawmaker as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly elections in Surulere Constituency 2.
With the verdict, the Honourable court has put to rest all disputes and controversies surrounding her educational certificates.
Meanwhile, Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Dr) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira has congratulated Hon. Sangodara her supporters and members of the party on her victory at the court.
The council boss in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Hon. Balogun Lukman urged the lawmaker to be magnanimous in victory.
He described the judgment as victory for democracy, the rule of law and the good people of Surulere Constituency 2.
According to him, the victory is a boost for the incumbent to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to her constituents.
Hon Apatira also congratulated the members, leaders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on the victory.
The council boss said: “On behalf of the Government and people of Itire-Ikate LCDA, I congratulate you on this landmark victory at the Federal High Court.
“Today’s judgement of the court has finally laid to rest all disputes and controversies surrounding your candidacy and has also further validated your victory in the exercise.
This is indeed a victory for democracy and the good people of Surulere Constituency 2 who freely gave you the mandate to represent them for another term.”
Dr Apatira while thanking God for the verdict, appreciated the judiciary for rising up to its solemn responsibility of ensuring that justice prevails.
He stressed that the judgment was a clear indication that the third arm of government is the last hope of the common man.
