Late Egyptian President, Morsi Buried In Cairo

The late Egypt’s first democratically elected president Mohamed Morsi has been buried in Eastern Cairo, a day after he collapsed in court and died.
Late Morsi who in court on Monday after the conclusion of his espionage trial was buried in Medinat Nasr, in eastern Cairo, Egypt.
The funeral prayer was said in Tora prison hospital, where he was declared dead on Monday, his lawyer Abdel Moneim Abdel Maksoud told AFP.
It would be recalled that Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, was toppled in a military coup in 2013 and had been in detention ever since.
Morsi’s death, according to the State TV, was due to a cardiac arrest.
