Speculating on outcome of presidential election tribunal is sub-prejudice- Senator Ita Enang

As Nigerians continue react to the European Union reports on the 2019 presidential election which adjudged that the election was marred with irregularities, Senator Ita Enang, the Senior Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he is yet to study the reports reason he is unable to make public his comment.

Senator Enang who is presidential adviser on legislative matter in a telephone conversation with newsexplorersng.com revealed that considering the contentious nature of the EU report, he would need to digest its content comprehensively.

He said, “I yet to read all the reports comprehensively, so, I won’t be able comment on it.”

When asked to comment on the speculations that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar would emerge victorious at the tribunal, Senator Enang said, “Let the tribunal decides that.”

He added, “I would not be able to speak on the likely outcome of the case because any matter that is pending in the court, it is not appropriate for me to speak. The matter is contentious therefore It will amount to sub-prejudice if I speak either way. Please let me not speak on it as at now.”
