Court Ejects Lagos PDP From Secretariat Over Unpaid Rent

The main opposition party in Lagos State, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been ejected by the court from its state secretariat on Adekunle Fajuyi way Ikeja over unpaid accumulated rent.

The eviction order was effected in the early hours of Monday by fully armed mobile police officers and court balliff.

During the eviction which lasted for over two hours, office equipment, furniture and other property of the opposition PDP was thrown out while the party officials watch helplessly.

Efforts to get the party spokesperson proved abortive as his numbers were switched off as at press time.
