Herald Of His Peace And Mercy Foundation Empowers Widows, Orphans, Other Less Privileged

A Non Governmental Organization,  Herald of Hid Peace and Mercy Foundation (HEPMEF) has empowered vulnerable people including widows, orphans and less privileged people in the society with food items, clothing materials, and cash gifts as part of activities to mark it’s anniversary.

Founder of organization, Dr.(Mrs.) Olubunmi Falade disclosed that since the empowerment programme started some years ago, HEPMEF has impacted positively on the lives of vulnerable people in the society.

Speaking during the anniversary, Falade  called on wealthy and influential people in the country to rise up and assist the poor people in the society, noting that rendering assistance is God’s expectation from his creatures.

The Founder who donated bags rice,semovita,and cash gifts to 62 widows,five trainees,orphanages,among others reiterated the commitment of HEPMEF to alleviating the sufferings of the less privileged in the community.

She stressed “our needs are building of a secretariat for the foundation,office equipment for the secretariat, photocopier machines,plasma television sets,homemaking machines and shoemaking machines among others.

“So I am using this medium to appeal for support in form of materials like shoe,cloth, and school books for students,she added.

The Founder assured “It is good to help the less privileged in the society to lend a helping hand to those you know need your help.When you do this,you are a partner in God’s business and you cannot be in God’s business and regret.

It would be recalled that in January last year,HEPMEF during  COVID 19 distributed  food items to many households in the Ibadan metropolis while in 2019 over 144 people participated in its training programmes.

A woman who was among the beneficiaries prayed for the initiators of the programes and urged the state government to complement the efforts of the NGO.
