The Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area, Hon (Dr) Ahmed Olarewaju Apatira has congratulated Senator Oluremi Tinubu on her 62nd birthday.
Apatira in a statement on Wednesday described the wife of National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as a disciplinarian, role model and mentor who leads a life of dignified service.
The council boss, on behalf of his family, the Executive, Legislative, Management team and the good people of the LCDA, assures the wife of the ‘City Boy’ and the incoming President of Nigeria of his unfailing support, solidarity and best wishes in her continued drive to serve the people of Lagos state and Nigeria.
The statement reads, “I heartily rejoice with our mother, mentor, disciplinarian, role model distinguished senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and wife of our incoming President of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (OON) on the occasion of her birth anniversary.
I thank God for your life of dignified service, particularly for your unique roles as the heartthrob of our highly esteemed leader and incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the enviable legacies you left as the Emeritus First Lady of Lagos State.
As a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic, you have lived up to expectations by offering quality representation to the good people of the Lagos Central Senatorial District.
It is most gratifying that you have always ploughed back to society through your numerous programmes targeted at indigent students, youths, women, artisans, and peasants, irrespective of political leaning.
Your contribution to the development of Lagos State and Nigeria particularly in the area of advocacy, legislation, and actions to uplift the female gender will remain praiseworthy in the annals of Nigerian history.
