As Nigeria’s voting population counts down to the February, 2023 presidential election, Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. (Dr) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira has urged residents in Lagos state to collect their permanent voter cards and vote massively for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for a better and more prosperous Nigeria.

Apatira, during a stakeholders’ meeting with party candidates and chieftains, members of the Landlords Association and other stakeholders in the community, charged participants on the need to take the ‘Renewed Hope’ mantra of the party to the grassroots.

Addressing the gathering, the council boss said, “By the grace of god, when our national leader and party flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu becomes the president of the country, we will have freedom from housing deficit and embrace good things of life including good roads, prosperous economy and other good things of life.

Once upon a time in Nigeria, exchange rate of dollar to naira is one to one but things are hard today.

We have Landlords among us here today. I urge you all to give the glad tidings to your tenants and the tenants, too, must spread the good news of renewed hope for a better and more prosperous Nigeria to other residents.

We must spread the gospel that voting all candidates of the All Progressives Congress is where the hope lies for Nigerians.

Let us vote Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the next president of the country, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as governor, Hon Wasiu Eshinlokun for the Senate, Hon Lanre Okunola for House of Reps in Surulere Constituency 2, and Lagos state House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Mosunmola Sangodara.

To make this a reality, I enjoin every one of us to collect our PVCs because without it, we cannot vote.”

He thereafter assured residents of his administration’s commitment to more infrastructural projects and people oriented programs.

“Our administration is committed to building the capacity of residents in the LCDA, especially our youths. We are desirous of advancing the economies of our people and continue to bequeath to them quality infrastructure including well equipped learning facilities, good roads and policies that are aimed at improving the standard of living of the people in the district and by extension, Lagos state” he assured.
