Nigeria Under Buhari Will Not Know Peace, Primate Elijah

The founder of INRI Evangelical Church of Christ, Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has said peace will continue to elude Nigeria unless President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly leadership criminalise and pass into law bill that supports instant judgment for evil Fulani herdsmen and kidnappers.
Primate Elijah who doubles as the spiritual head condemned what he described as the nonchalance of President Buhari towards the kidnapping, killing and maiming of innocent Nigerians.
He said “The ‘I-don’t-care posture’ of the President Buhari administration towards the inhuman actions of the Fulani herders who attacked their host communities with impunity calls for concern especially now that it is trickling in the Southwest region.”
The popular cleric said he had earlier warned of an impending insecurity added that the increasing rate of insecurity will make Buhari unpopular.
He said, “About two years, I prophesised that President Buhari would fail in the area of security. I foretold that insecurity would be one of the greatest challenges of his government which would weaken and make it unpopular. I had foreseen that Nigerians would be subjected to a tortuous and hellish reign under President Buhari’s second term. These are what is happening now.”
Speaking on the way out of the quagmire, the man of God said, “unless Buhari and the National Assembly hand down justice to the Fulani herders peace would continue to elude Nigeria under Buhari. Let the National Assembly pass into law a bill that supports instant justice for devilish Fulani herdsmen and kidnappers.”
He argued that “If the Senate and the House of Representatives are not rubber stamp, they should make the urgently to support instant justice for any kidnappers caught with evidence. Any kidnapper and rapist also caught, there should be a law that supports death sentence to them.
There must be a law that pronounce death penalty on these evil people irrespective of whether Buhari changes his service chiefs or not. Failure go do this makes one believes that the government is an accomplice in the evil acts else a drastic action against it must be taken. Any step outside of this would spell doom for the country “ he warned.
